Attention Commercial Property Owners
The Lee County Property Appraiser’s Office has mailed our annual questionnaires to commercial property owners requesting income and expense information to assist us with our 2019 valuation. Help Us Keep Your Records Up To Date
If you have a new mailing address, your marital status has changed or you bought property please be sure you keep your records up to date. Visit Taxpayer Services to let us know. Some services require an account be established with our office; if you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one.

Defective Drywall
We’ve issued new guidelines for recognizing defective drywall. Letters have been mailed out. If you haven’t gotten your letter or if you have any questions please visit our defective drywall information page.

Property Inspections
Some of our duties require us to be out in the field doing field inspections. Field Staff is out 5 days per week inspecting parcels and updating photos. They are always in a LCPA logo uniform shirt, with marked cars and ID badges. They are there to verify data, measure homes, etc. If you have any questions or concerns call our Field Services department at 239-533-6236.

Homestead Exemption applications are now being accepted for the 2020 tax year
If you have made Lee County your permanent residence, don’t forget to file for the Homestead Exemption. Applications for the 2020 tax year can be made either on-line or by stopping by our office.

Property Appraiser’s Office partners with Lee County Schools
In conjunction with the Lee County Exceptional Student Education program and the Work Experience program, the PA’s Office gives students the opportunity for real world work experience. Since 2013, selected students have participated in identifying various features on parcels in Lee County using aerial photography and special software created for this program.
