How Do I Request My Information Be Removed from the Lee County Property Appraiser Website?
F.S. §119.07
requires that all state, county and municipal records, which are not exempt by law, be open for inpsection and copying by any person.
It is the duty of the Lee County Property Appraiser to provide public access to non-exempt records we maintain in the most efficient way
possible, preferably by remote electronic access via our website. There are two methods for requesting removal of your information from
our website:
-
COURTESY BLOCK
Out of concern for individual privacy, current Property Appraiser policy allows taxpayers to request that their property information be removed/not displayed
on our website. Requesting that your information be removed from our website does not stop or protect your information from being provided when it is requested.
To request a courtesy block of your personal information, complete the Request for Courtesy Block form.
Please note: once the Courtesy Block has been processed, you will not be able to see your information on our website. In order for you to see your information on
our website again, you have to request that we remove the Courtesy Block. To remove the courtesy block of your personal information, complete the
Request for Removal of Courtesy Block form.
